Shure SE846 Impressions Thread

Hi fellow 846 owners,  I wanted to post some pictures here to see if your SE846 looks similar to mine.  I have always had concerns with how some parts of the clear shell around the cable connector and nozzle looks opaque (or stressed).  I am wondering if this is a manufacturing defect as I am definitely careful enough to not stress these parts.

Here's a much cheaper option for existing SE846 owners:

Might be in a minority here but really like my clears and if offered the choice would have chosen them anyway. Really like seeing the internals.

I'm with ya on that. The black one looks so plain (in pics at least). The clear ones don't look like any other earphone!

I prefer my clear SE846 way over the others - though I have to admit that the blue one on the rendered pictures doesn't look bad either, but there would be no chance that I'd take any of them over my clear SE846.
Though, on the other hand, I prefer my silver SE425 much over the clear version.

Mine has some parts that not really clear, but not like that much

+1 oh yes! The 846 internals are very nice close-up. Same goes for my customs. I'd take clear so I can see the internals. But maybe it's just me. My watches are like that too. That is until one fine day you look at Spiral Ears customs and see the wiring like spaghetti inside lol.
