I'm trying to decide between these two earphones (I currently own them both) and I'm having the hardest time. I love the clarity of the super.fi 4's...they sound very fast, clear, and extended; my only complaint about them is the lack of bass extension. They are not TOTALLY void of bass, but things like bass drums just don't have much impact. The SE115s by comparison have more exciting dynamics, and more bass. At this point I can't really say "better" bass, because in my opinion it sounds a bit boomy and exaggerated.

Has anyone faced this decision? And how do the SE115s end up with burn in? I probably only have about 20 hours on them so far, but the bass is still just a tad too strong....

im curious about the se115's, everywhere ive read that theyre beefy in the bass department, but just how bassy? And do the highs suffer?
to answer youre question, i would imagine the the se115's would be better and isolate more!
