Do you use the eq feature on mojo 2 ?
Yes.

I dial down the treble region and boost bass a touch when playing 80s rock. I also frequently use the crossfeed. Otherwise, the stock tuning matches well with the KSE.

Do you lock the output on the Mojo2 to 3v and switch to -10db, or do you run volume up to almost the clipping point and leave it that way|?

I set the volume on the KSE to unity gain and use the Mojo2 for volume control.

I rarely use the KSE volume control.

Many.

Care to elaborate on what you are looking for?

I like the Mojo2 KSE1200 combination personally.

+1 for mojo2. I've used it with KSE for couple of months and it's great pairing with additional tone control if needed. In my opinion mojo2 pairs better than hugo2 which is too thin and too technical with KSE.

I have an original mojo though the battery has been a bit finicky. What is the recommended USB-C to Micro-USB cable? Whether I use the internal DAC or the Mojo, that's the cable I need. Ideally 6-12 inches.

https://www.moon-audio.com/black-dragon-form-fit-usb-cable-by-moon-audio.html The USB-micro to C variant here is $145

https://www.amazon.com/SNANSHI-Charging-Transfer-Headphone-Controller/dp/B0CQX235GX/ this one is $5.99

I'm using a dongle to feed a very ordinary usb-a to the mojo and hear a negligible difference between the MacBook Pro "high impedance" headphone jack and the mojo.
