Question about the EJ07 frequency graph.

It is so smooth without any phasing drops anywhere. Is this considered a good thing or a bad thing? Like did they put no thought into it? Or they put alot of design effort into it to achieve that?

I noticed alot of ToTL have more phase drops and spikes. I saw nothing like the one long continuous transition of the EJ07's graph.

So then they are technically planars. Because that is just a rough way to describe the technology. Or a derivative of Planars, but still planars.

Not really. A planar uses a voice coil, where these rely on polarization of the entire membrane.

Cryo1, my suggestion for 2nd hand would be the IMR R2 Aten. I just upgraded from the Moondrop Kxxs and I'm amazed at the clarity and amount of shear bass it produces. I picked them up here on the sale forum for $200 (retails for over $500)

As far as new IEM's that would be an upgrade from the T4, I would look at the ISN H40 ($195) or the Tri I3 planars ($127)
