Shuoer impressions thread

Hi all,

Has anyone hear tried the EJ09M? I have been reading Chinese forums and it seems to have similar qualities to what made the Andromeda (before the Emerald Sea) so unique.

It apparently has a wide soundstage, good imaging/technicality, nice DD rumble, and well-tuned mids for the price around $1300. It also seems to maintain some qualities of the Cadenza - namely in note weight and dynamics. Overall a neutral with sub-bass boost tune.

Some people have also said it's too bright for them, but doesn't have the "crunchy" brightness that affected the lower treble in the Cadenza.

Edit: it's on sale now - https://letshuoer.net/products/ej09-bestinstrument-in-ear-monitors-classical-music

I picked it up. Would love to know if anyone else has tried it and their thoughts.

Thats encouraging. I Sold my EJ07M. Loved the mids and treble, bass too laid back but the fit was amazing.
How does the MKII compare there?
Hmm too laid back? Put a tune on with some tight bass and it really proves itself there.

I have the S12 Pros and now the D13s. A lot of professional reviews are available on both sets. They are both great IEMs for their price, but I’m going to just say this. Only one of them made my mouth Drop to the floor within 10 seconds of play time. The track was”Sunkiller” by Spiritbox. They were through a Hip Dac2 with both power match and bass boost turned OFF on the Dac. The LEDs turned magenta and my jaw dropped. For the whole fn song. Which pair am I referencing? Zeos would know…

Did you guys notice any sonic improvements in EJ07M after burning in or over the time?
Yeah, these IEM seriously needs alot of burn in. I do notice significant reduce in brightness which was harsh in the initial phase.

So...the S15 is here.
We just have a few details here:

And an early review here:

Anybody else had the chance of trying them? 3 times more expensive than S12....hmm. Will it have the same planar driver together with that passive radiator?
Here you have a great and detailed review of the Letshuoer S15, written by Mahir and posted on MBA.

I'm sure the S15 is an upgrade on the S12. I really love and supported the S12, but the price increase for the S15 is a disgrace. Others will follow suit, bringing other Planar IEMs to that unaffordable place. Disgraceful. Letshuoer are doing nothing for the true HiFi community and Head-fi community. A real kick in the HiFi you know what's. My faith in Letshuoer has totally gone.
