So can’t wait for your set to arrive! I was reframed from poking you over the weekend!! Shame still not scanned yet, I think could potentially due to Chinese New Year around the corner that couriers just super busy using up all the slots... fingers crossed won’t be long now!

Almost certain the CNY is backing em up. It was originally going ot be shipped with DHL, but turns out that DHL "ran out of slots" and was "overbooked"... Some things were just not meant to be

This happened to me at the height of the ppe crisis - my order of 07 was “lost” by dhl after Shuoer handed over the parcel. It was pathetic. I shared the same pain as you man... it sucks and this is new (as how courier prioritise delivery not seen before)

I know never push anyone give rushed feedback but please do try give some conditional view! Felt sorry for you (happened to my order too due to PPE crisis) that refrained asking, glad UPS finally delivering soon. I’m actually really looking forward to it, I know some might not...

Yea I usually don't like reviewing things until I've lived with them for a little bit, but I'll do some initial comparisons. Surprising that some of the bigger reviews haven't talked about the 09's yet at all. I know one prominent reviewer already has their hands on em.

I was also surprised on that too - I wonder whether has to do with recent drama with the TP , I heard hbb said he’s not sure if his version is final? Could it because that?

Have you discussed, since it’s CIEM that whether you can have yours modified to your liking? Not suggesting yours not final as it’s definitely released in China and my local guy said high profile folks absolutely love it. But again, Conductor got good reception in China too

There is still some uncertainty of what version is final exactly, since the Shuoer team hasn't really been producing them yet. We're still waiting on a finalized frequency response graph. I've posted the FR of my set previously in the thread. There have been at least 3 graphs of the 09's being circulated around and the Shuoer team still has not clarified as to which graph is "stock".

My saga goes, I asked for my 09's to be stock all around (since I can EQ to whatever later) before any public information. However, the Shuoer team got feedback from early listeners of the engineering sample. Those listeners did not like the engineering sample at all, so they were going to delay the 09's and go for a retune. They were originally planning on delaying mine too, but later told me it would be good to go. I told them to tune mine to listener recommendations and also gave them a graph to reference which looked almost identical to engineering sample reviewer suggestions.

They came back in a few days with the FR I posted a few pages ago. I've yet to receive confirmation that it's the stock 09's graph for all future sets. But they're happy to tune any 09's to follow my graph if you request it.

Until I get more clarification from the Shuoer team (which won't be until after CNY — 2/18), that's all I can say for now.

We probably have the same contact lol. There's a lot going on with the 09 launch (not going to get into all of it right now). We're hoping to get a lot more clarity after CNY there, so I'll probably hold off on my actual long review until then. Would give me a week of continuous listening too.
