Yes I also seen the st7 at around 550 during sales (although not recently though...).

Maybe hope for some "bellsing" est lol.
I wonder if Knowles is working on their version.

The ST7 is not the same as the EJ07. Look at the impedance. Not the same at all.
Thanks for confirming, we had some long debate on this in earlier posts. Basically, I was about to pull the trigger on ST7 and when query the sales rep who replied it’s not the same tuning (didn’t comment whether all build by the same manufacturer & components, despite components look almost exactly the same)

I'm not sure what they did but consider this: The EST drivers need power. The higher the impedance (Is my best guess), the more power the EST drivers receive compared to the other drivers. This leads me to believe the EJ07 has more EST energy than the other clones since all of them have lower impedance.

news to me on the ST7 not being the same as EJ07 as well. They appeared to have the same cross-over components & seemingly the same drivers as well. But that's just from a visual perspective. Don't think anyone confirmed by actually listening to the two side-by-side.

I will ask my source to see whether your thinking is correct - although at this stage I agree with you! (I’m no EE/audio expert :frowning2:

@ulus - can you provide some insight :) ? I thought you might have run some A/B between the two? Thanks!

TRN is known for being poorly made. I own one and it failed within a few weeks (sound cut out on the right side... probably due to poor soldering). They're cheaper than the rest for a reason...
I have 3 TRN T3 cables. So far so good. :fingers_crossed:

im going to take a chance and get the TRN cable from Linsoul
No offence but I think if it’s for ej might deserve a high quality single crystal pure silver? Admittedly had not use TRN cable but a recent Tripowin hybrid cable wasn’t having the sound change I would have expected vs stock one. It was much better made and braided but sound quality wasn’t improved.

I think need the seller to confirm it’s single crystal version (thru my own experiment to find out)
