Should I get AKG K240 MkII's or get something cheaper (100€)?

I was going for AKG K240 MkII's at first but then I realized they might be too good for me. So I cancelled my order (I don't really want to send another email asking the store to ignore my cancellation).
Now I'm looking for something a little cheaper. I think ATH-AD700's would be perfect but they're just too expensive for me. I can't even buy used ones as Amazon can't send them to my country.
I heard HD 555's aren't so good either, or is that just an audiophile opinion?

I'm looking for open cans as I want the great soundstage. My old headphones were Shure SRH440's which were great but got broken.
I would use these headphones mainly for music (I'm not a basshead), gaming and maybe movies, along with Asus Xonar DG.

I'm really desperate finding good headphones as I need to order them really soon.

EDIT: I can actually spend a little more, it's just that I can't use more than 100€ with my credit card and Amazon doesn't accept anything else.
So I can get something more expensive as long as they're sold in my country (unfortunately, AD700's are not).

Despite what some say otherwise, the HD555 is an excellent(for its current price) all around headphone that has a pretty decent soundstage.  Here a few additional suggestions for:

Sennheiser HD518, HD558
