Well, all of these tws earbuds have limited sound quality. There is only so much space in those tiny shells. And the bluetooth protocol has its limitations. I have sennheiser momentum tws 2, and while they do sound amazing for a bluetooth device, quite better than all the rest of my tws earbuds, you would be surprised how good can cheap earbuds sound. I recently bought bomaker sifi for 40€ on amazon. And I must say... They really sound good and make sennheisers very overpriced.

Well, I was initially looking for very budget models (like QCY T5), but finally decided to spend a bit more
I agree, some companies sometimes do miracles with very limited space (like my tiny Westone W80 which have 8 BA drivers...). But it's definitely not in the same league and price bracket however...

So, now have to wait about a month for my O7 (shipped from China) :expressionless:

Side question for the shanling representative: is there any future posibility to get volume control through firmware update?

Firmware updates for our TWS are impossible outside of factory.

Seems many like myself, after owning v1 for a few months now have issues with stereo pairing. Yes I’ve factory reset several times, both Left and Right pair independently but no longer pair with each other in stereo mode. Shanling this seems like a simple issue, what’s the fix before I move onto another BT iem that actually works ?

Please make sure that after reset you hold them very close together for the first pairing. And try to reset left side first, then right.

If you are unable to fix it yourself, you can of course reach to your seller for warranty repair/replacement.

Can you tell me, after they are tapped four times to factory reset, the right earphone flashes quickly then I put it back, the left ear phone should it also flash quickly before it’s put back when factory resetting ?

Then take them both out of the case, at this point they should be flashing and stereo pair ?

When you reset them, you should get "Power Off" voice prompt, that's the easiest way to know they are reset.

When removed from case, yes they will flash and should pair.

But the earphones stop and start charging again if you shake the case. Not really a big problem.

I quite struggle with this issue. I only use the earphones up to 5 hours a week but I need to recharge the case weekly. One of the earphones (L) is really sensitive to movements and constantly recharges itself. I have my earphones either in a pocket of a jacket or in a backpack and I'm on the go moving at least 2-3 hours a day (just walking, not running). I tried cleaning the earphone and case but it didn't help. I had no issue with other earphones - even QCY without cover sat in case perfecly.

Now that my MTW100 got stolen, I'm deciding whatever to purchase V2 or something else. The quality of sound for this price is just excellent.

I have to say that the sound quality of the V2 is excellent for a TWS and it is an extremely easy rec for the price. I got the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus hoping for an upgrade, but I actually enjoyed the V2 more, as it sounded fuller with richer mids and bass. For a single BA setup it is quite impressive in it's extension and soundstage. Decided to return the Samsung instead of selling my V2.

Interesting, I have been using my pair for over 8 months and never had issue with them getting loose in the case. As I wear only one earpiece 95% of time, I would notice such issue with dual pairing starting out of nowhere.
Even if I have the case open, I would need to swing it quite aggressively to get them loose. And when closed, there shouldn't be really space for them get so loose they wouldn't snap back to magnet immediately.

Were you using stock tips or some third party ones?

I was using stock tips.

While I enjoyed the sound and comfort of MTW100, I will probably go with Galaxy Buds. I'm trying it now and its sound is in the ok range for me but the extra features (compared to MTW100) make it for me: volume control, perfect audio sync in videos (even on my non Samsung - OnePlus device), perfect fit in case, ear detection, case open detection (to speed up connection), working charging with USB power delivery chargers. The price is less than 25% difference in my country. I don't complain - this is just my feedback, hoping for even better models in the future.

Well tried and tried, prob reset them 20 times, these will no longer pair in stereo mode. Onto something else, lasted me a total of five months.

@Shanling What is the surround awareness mode controls for V1 versus V2? Just curious which version I got.

For old version, you would need to hold your finger on sensor to enter this mode, on new version you need to tap it 4 times.
