Will this issue come with all other DAP as well that has rooted Android OS to bypass the android upsampling ?

No, AFAIK, the DAPs below are facing this issue. I think the DAPs from the same brand with the same Android and SoC are as well.
Shanling M9 Plus/M9/M7/M6 Ultra/M3 Ultra (Android10+SD665)
iBasso DX170 (Android11+RK3566)
HiBy R6 Pro/R5/R5 Gen 2 (Android8.1+SD425)
TempoTec V6 (Android8.1+SD425)
Cayin N6ii (Android8.1+SD425)
AK SP3000T (Android11+SD6125)
ONIX Miracle - XM10 (Android10+SD665)

Shanling, iBasso, HiBy, TempoTec and AK are working on this issue, but unfortunately Cayin does not provide any support for discontinued products like the N6ii.

According to this post on X, Apple Music 4.7.0 detects a device as rooted by checking for su binary.
Even though the DAPs above are not rooted, I suspect because su binary exists on their stock firmware for some reason, they are detected as rooted.

AFAIK, Apple Music 4.7.0 woks fine with the DAPs below.
Shanling DAPs with Android7.1 and SD430 (M6, M6 Pro, M3X, etc.)
iBasso DX320/DX300MAX/DX260 (Android11+SD660), and DX160 (Android8.1+RK3368)
HiBy RS8/R6 Pro II/R6 III (Android12+SD665), and R6 Gen 2 (Android9+SD660)
FIIO DAPs with Android10+SD660 (M17/M15s/M11 Plus ESS/M11S, etc.)
Sony WM1ZM2 (Android11+i.MX 8M Plus) and ZX707 (Android13+QCS4290)

Our software team has developed fix for this and should be coming out soon with a firmware update.

This is more on the side of Apple, why they are limiting access to their app on certain devices and if they will be making any further steps to limit the access.
But this is more topic for Apple, Google and maybe EU laws.

Apple hates anything other than an Apple device to access their service and do everything to lock out Android access. Why I've always avoided Apple.

So after waiting for almost 2 months, my M9 Plus is finally back... With a single stuck pixel. Pressure and/or pixel flashing (jscreenfix) did not solve the issue.

I sent this unit back for a fix on the physical buttons under warranty, and also decided I'll just get the screen replaced for extra cost to fix up a small dent out of OCD.

Normally I'd just go along with the stuck pixel, but given I paid 1000 CNY for a screen replacement out of OCD, this is hard to accept.

This is a replacement/repair job, surely @Shanling would've triple checked the quality before sending it back out...

For the most part it's not visible and only shows up on black backgrounds, no big deal, but this does make Shanling's work quality questionable, and maybe it will bite me if I ever try to resell...

What to do now?

Oh man! I would get it repaired having paid for it and it will always be on my mind if I continue with dead pixel

Yeah but, another 2 month wait, with shipping costs on my end for something that should've been done right in the first place...

Man...

Our internal limit is around 2-3 such pixels per screen. It follows the national standard for the screens, applicable among pretty much all devices with screens.

And here I thought those premium prices were based on offsetting those standards for customers who want something better. 🤑

I have sent my M9+ in for a battery change. Also quoted 2 month turnaround, not under warranty. I'll report back how this goes.

Isn’t it a year old DAP ? I would ideally like my battery to give me 2.5 to 3 years of service before retiring.
