Thank you for a quick response. I'm just going to buy the card, so that's why I'm curious.

Yes, you can, it's setting within Tidal app.

This might have been posted before, but has anyone managed to get a third party equaliser app like Wavelet or Poweramp EQ to work with the AGLO system this player is using?
Even the built-in equalisers for Spotify and Pulsar are non-functional. The only app that has an equaliser that works is UAPP.
I've tried with Wavelet to enable both permissions by going into developer options for DUMP permission but still the eq doesn't change anything about the sound.

From my not directly related experience, there is an option in wavelet settings for legacy mode. Did you switch that on and try? That worked for me for some other usage purpose.

It was reported to our software team, will see if they can adjust our system for it in any way.

Isn't that like the proprietary Apple formatting? Don't think that works on anything outside of Mac.

Out of these three, the M6 Pro 21 would be the most neutral, while M6 Ultra the most warm.
From our current line, M7 would be the most neutral sounding.

Have you enabled Advanced Player Tracking in Poweramp EQ via ADB? Should work with most players (at least it works for me with plexamp)This might have been posted before, but has anyone managed to get a third party equaliser app like Wavelet or Poweramp EQ to work with the AGLO system this player is using?

What formatting can I use for an SD card to use with Shanling devices?
We use standard exfat on all our cards. What formatting can I use for an SD card to use with Shanling devices?

But is that the only one that works, or are there other formats? We use standard exfat on all our cards.

For the cards most common are FAT32, exfat and NTFS. All 3 will work on our players, exfat is simply our preference as it seems to be the most universal among other devices.
You can read about the differences here for example: https://www.howtogeek.com/235596/whats-the-difference-between-fat32-exfat-and-ntfs/

Bought a second-hand M6U and installed Wavelet on it and it was working just fine.
However, when I did a Shanling firmware update Wavelet (and other EQ apps) appear to no longer work. Unfortunately I made the mistake of not making a note of what version of the firmware I was one when it was working.
Hopefully, this gets resolved in a future firmware update but if anyone needs EQ apps at the moment, it might be advisable to roll-back firmware (if that's even possible)
