Yes, I primarily listen to Apple Music and as of now do not know of anything that I can use for EQ. Power Amp worked for a while and then after the last couple of updates became so unstable I just took it off the player. I find myself just listening to music with my iPhone instead... which is kind of a waste.

Is the wifi so slow you cant stream with it? Mine has been working fine at work and at home. At work I'm on wpa2 at home I'm on wpa3. My understanding is the bug is related to the security protocol you are using in the wifi access point. Some are not working with wpa2 very well. if you change your protocal to wpa3 which is a better protocal anyways as wpa2 is pretty useless as far as securing your wifi network these days anyways.

We are only on wpa2 at work because my boss thinks not all our devices can do wpa3 but I'm pretty sure she's wrong about that and I'm trying to get her to change her mind about it lol

I just purchased the M6U from a fellow Head-Fier and I can't get any sound from any of the jacks (playing from Plexamp and Roon Arc). Bluetooth does work though.

Also, I was playing with the settings and, some of the time, when changing the Gain setting, the sound comes on, but then cuts back out after about 20 seconds.

Is this a known issue with Roon Arc or Plexamp? Anyone else have this type of problem.

Are you able to play with Shanling music app?

For Roon we are aware of muted issue and it will be fixed with next firmware.

The Shanling music app seems to be working, as well as Qobuz and Poweramp, but no luck from Plexamp. Is the Plexamp problem the same issue as Roon? Maybe there are certain settings that need to be changed in order for it to work correctly?

I have the same issue with plexamp on the latest firmware, but the previous one (1.27) works fine for me

Oops just realized you were talking about the most recent version of the OS from Shanling, not Plexamp. Oh well, guess I just have to wait for a fix in the next release.

It's not hard to downgrade it. You can try it. Run Support app -> Firmware update -> Local Update and choose the downloaded firmware.

So is there no Lock Screen for this unit? Something like where you double tap the screen when it's locked and it will show the time and a mini player of what's playing?

Also, I know some have said EQ apps are not working but I have wavelet graphic EQ running while streaming Apple Music and it seems to work. I should say that I'm on an older version of the firmware 1.22

It's normal Android system, you can find the lockscreen setting in Security - Screen lock

These seem like small issues but for me it's a bit of a deal breaker and might have to return this. I still wonder how in so many years of audio technology in the portable space companies still don't include a system wide GEQ or PEQ- especially on a device that costs this much. I mean my Quadilix 5k which costs a hundred dollars has both plus dual DAC chips and balanced output.

I will suggest if your device is in return time period then return it .. because shanling support is worst.
They won't provide any fixes.
I am trying to get an answer from them from last month but as usual of shanling they don't have any timeline.
They are just giving excuses and nothing else.
I regret my decision of buying it.

From my test, it's seem warm tone
