The only Android version upgrade I know of is the DX300 MAX, from Android 11 to 12. There may have been more but it is pretty rare.

Wifi speeds are very slow on m6 ultra,
Didn't faced issue like this on my fiio m11 plus ess.
Firmware 1.28
I've had trouble with Wifi when transferring more than just a few songs. It's slow, and also would have trouble with certain songs, repeatedly delivering them corrupted.

I've switched to USB transfer for the most part (or removing the micro SD card and popping it in a reader for really big transfers) and that works fine. I love the player otherwise, but the wifi could use some work. Having to plug it in to transfer is annoying for sure.

Our software team reported they have fix for this issue and it will be released with next firmware update.

Hello everybody. please tell me which headphones you use in a pair with Shanling M6 Ultra for listening to music, namely heavy metal. and which headphones you can recommend for future purchase. at this point I was recommended Yincrow RW-3000 and Fiio EM5

I use moondrop blessings 2 as IEMs and Hifiman edition Xs as over the ears headfones. M6U drives both these setups quite smoothly :) hope this helps.

Well, the two models you listing are earbuds, which is quite a niche category and for quite specific user scenarios.
It would help to know if you are looking for earbuds, isolating earphones/IEMs or actual overhead headphones.

They are older models, so it might be simply battery degradation over time.

Good day. the following models were the leaders in the list
fiio ff5
bvgp dx 6
yincrow rw 2000
yincrow 3000
fiio em5
there is no need to change over-ear headphones, as Sony mdr 1rbt paired with a stock player suits me perfectly.
And since I am talking to the representative of the manufacturer, I would like to ask you to fix the problem with the display of Cyrillic characters in the names of artists and song lists in the new version of the software.
