Bought a second-hand M6U and installed Wavelet on it and it was working just fine.
However, when I did a Shanling firmware update Wavelet (and other EQ apps) appear to no longer work. Unfortunately I made the mistake of not making a note of what version of the firmware I was one when it was working.
Hopefully, this gets resolved in a future firmware update but if anyone needs EQ apps at the moment, it might be advisable to roll-back firmware (if that's even possible)

It's in works, I believe new firmware for M3 Ultra has it now fixed (Alongside fix for Roon).

Beside from the EQ (which I don’t use much in any case) it is a lovely DAP!

I've downloaded the update and confirm that Wavelet now works. In terms of WLAN speed, I was not having any issues with this previously so I cannot comment on this .

I've downloaded the update also but I´m in trouble to install it. The screen 'update in progress, don´t shut down' shows for an hour and nothing else happens. The player has 1.28 installed, I made a factory reset, took my 1 TB Sandisk card out and switched even to english. Any additional ideas?

Thank you Laps, that worked for me. I don´t know why, the two former updates were managed with my powerbook. Anyway, my M6U is on 1.30 now.

It all depend on the router you use:
In my case the speed is OK on a Asus AX88U router (with Merlin firmware v388.2) - I get ~200 Mbps down and ~50 Mbps up (on a 500/50 line) on 5 GHz AC-type WLAN with 80 MHz channel (433 Mbps connection from M6U).

This new version broke Poweramp Pro for me, but only when using Bluetooth. The Shanling app in bluetooth works so most likely settings within Poweramp pro. I use the default settings but can't seem to get the bluetooth working. Does anyone know how to fix this?
