I noticed that to update my library seems to take about 30 min to update just one 8 song LP, it use to take about 5 min or less.I'm going to the lp folder of the LP which takes less time then updating the whole genre so i'd say it's not faster but much slower since the update

I was playing my M6 Ultra with some dan clark aeon closed backs at about 75 on the volume with the high gain on in about 15 min the sound shut off it took about 5 min to have sound again does this unit have a shut off if it gets to warm i have a shanling leather case on it also how to check if it has sound again if everything is ok nothing got damaged thanks for any help

Don’t you love spending a $1000 on a dap and then have so many issues?
I have a Cayin N7, Fiio M11S and ibasso Dx170 and never had such issues

External EQ apps are a bit unique in their implementation and it takes our software team longer time to get them working. The latest update allowed them to work, we are now looking into these issues with noise.

Meanwhile, you can just not use EQ or use apps with built-in EQ.

Other apps are able to scan without issue?

WiFi speeds are definitely lower now with the new update compared to before with a typical drop from 75% (before) to now 25-30% (after the update). Using a TP-Link Deco Mesh system with speeds averaging 225 mbps to 280 mbps (as measure using Speedtest app from Ookla).

Please what file was it?

MAX includes both Hi-Res Flac and MQA files.

Sorry, neither Tidal or the M6U report if it's Hi-Res Flac or MQA it's playing. Tidal just says MAX at the bottom of the song info.

The bit rate displayed if I connect headphones is about 706.4k for the songs that play silent over Bluetooth.

I can now confirm that some HIGH quality songs also play in silence, but those are also displaying 705k+ bit rates, so I think they are labeled incorrectly by Tidal.

Also, can you have the software automatically inform us when a new version is available? My M6U only tells me if I manually click on the "tech support" app. :relaxed:

any chance of an update enabling the ability to rotate the display? love the m6u and how fluid the OS and switching to usb dac mode is

Any news on the update to fix MQA playback? Half my Tidal songs play silent over Bluetooth.
