how sounds m6u tone? warm,neutral or v-shaped.maybe any tried how it sounds with meze rai penta?

I agree with the comment above... warm tone. However, it's also detailed, so it's really nice.

meze rai penta iems is warm sounding ,so with m6u is not pair? better look to ESS sabre daps? like dx240,m15s,hiby R6 iii or R6 pro?

My colleague uses Rai Penta and is quite happy with the M6 Ultra combination. From the pairing, it also depends on what is your preference.

If you think Penta is too warm and want to pair it with something more neutral, look at our M7.

meze rai penta strongest at mids,sligthtly warm side,more V-Shaped sounding,so im see at more neutral shaped,or more bright dap,from m6u or m7 is my favorits from other similar priced daps im investigated few weeks. also need full hd screen,very fast ui similar to smarthones,665 or 660 snapdragons,with volume knob,screen 4.5-5'size,and not too hot when playing longer as m17

EQ is included in our app, EQ works in other music apps, issue is only with these "external" EQ apps.

@Benno1988 - I could be wrong but I believe the EQ only works with local files and within the Shanling player app. I don't believe it's a global setting,

@Shanling - I find it interesting that the team managed to figure out how to put a working EQ in your own app but did not include the ability to have an EQ work from a third party app system wide. Couldn't they just look at the code for what they did to make it work in their own app and apply that to allow third party EQ apps on a system wide setting?

EQ within all music apps work, it's just issue with these external EQ apps, that aren't music players themselves.

im got shanling M7. neutral sounding. paired with stellia , but will look at neutral IEms. what is good for upgrade from meze rai penta to? i dont like bass or boomy sound. natural is ok

I only have 634ears iems, all custom tuned to my preference, and can recommend checking that option out.
