I just uninstalled version 5.2 of the USB DAC driver & re-installed 2.29.0 . 352.8 & 384khz are nice options to have but unfortunately my (otherwise perfectly decent) laptop has appalling issues with transmitting clicks, drop outs & pops to some (but not all, Apple Type C Dongle is fine?) USB audio devices whilst running Equaliser APO ( & trust me, I've tried everything else recommended on the internet to get rid of the problem to little avail) which only the "Extra Safe" USB streaming mode, unavailable on the updated software, seems able to defeat! It's 176.4/32 (which itself hugely reduced interference compared with 44.1/24) for now! I'd love it if they'd put the different USB modes back in a future driver update.

Once I'd installed Google Play I installed the Tidal app from there. Was smooth and easy and you can keep it updated.

Thanks BobSmith8901. I figured it out. You just have to play around with these DAPS and stumble on to what you want. I usually play with it about 30- 45 minutes before asking for help.
That is the last thing I needed to complete my set up for this DAP. M9 ordered. The M6 Pro 21 is a sweet little DAP.

Yeah, I seem to remember that my Pro 21 had a sort of indirect route to getting the Play Store: if I recall correctly, it wasn't part of the pre-installed apps on the machine (I guess due to Android 7.1 being a bit dated) and I had to download it from the APKPure app that was pre-installed. Then I was able to install Play Store and sign in and go from there. Didn't remember that part of it when you posted. Not sure that's how you ended up getting it on yours. Congrats on the M9 too!

Hmm...... Let me go back and see if I can reproduce the steps I took. I know that Launcher 3 kept overriding Nova but I did something that correcected it. If I figure it out again, I'll post and see if you can reproduce the result.

Did you manage to re-figure this out in the end?

Google Play Store Announcement

At current time, latest version of Google Play Store (V28.9.12) is reporting as incompatible with our Android players.

If you are installing it for the first time, please download and install the latest compatible version.

I kind of regret buying m6 pro 21 as apart from changing DAC they should have also updated CPU so we get more recent version of android, at least 9.
now we are stuck on old play store. its not good for player this price that was released in 2021

I have problem with wifi connection to my hotspot on Iphone 12. It always connect and after that immediately disconnect. I own m6pro. Not 21 year version. Before I had ak sr25 and there wasn't ever problem. I don't know if I had to return it. For me it is important, as in work I can't use other types of connection. Only through mobile data. When I am at home there is no problem with connection to my router over wifi. Thx

That's strange, i just tested it with iPhone 13 and it worked without issue.

Can you tell me what iOS version is on your phone and what firmwar eon the M6 pro?
