One little thing!
It would have been nice of Shanling to include a cover or case.
They didn't with M0 either and it was expensive to buy one for that against the price of that particular player.
I just feel I get a better grip of the player when handling it.
I went for this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000293280766.html
There's also this: https://www.aliexpress.com/i/4000585595669.html

Agreed, and a better screen protector but that's a different story.
I got both cases and prefer the plastic one. The leather one makes the DAP even more chunky, but it does feel premium.

Apologize to everybody for lack of updates, Shanling offices are still closed and I'm just at home posting from my small notebook. I hope we will be back fully running soon.

I agree when you say that M6 sounds better than the smartphone with bluetooth.
Every smartphone have different sound signature also at the bluetooth signal.

I think it's the bluetooth 4 on the M6 what makes the signal bad.
With Bluetooth 5 you have better signal.
I have much better signal when i use the Shanling Up2 or Up4 @ bluetooth 5.0.

Actually Bluetooth version has very minimal impact on Bluetooth audio, it's more about chips and antennas inside units.

Damn, M15 and M6 designs are near identical, minus the knob. I wonder why, partnership between shanling and fiio or blatant rip-off?

No partnership between our brands.

Is there a way to buy this unit inside the EU? German Amazon doesn't offer it and google search went nowhere ...

You can check our website for our dealers and distributors around Europe http://en.shanling.com/category/335

How come so few distributors stock the M6 in the EU? I regularly check Audiophonics to no avail.

Little bit problem with timing, main production run of international version of M6 was delayed until end of December and soon after we got into CNY holidays. And due to current situation we are still not fully operational, unable to proceed more shipments of M6.

Also, Audiophonics is one of our smallest dealers, if you want to purchase M6 from them, would be better to send them email and ask them to order M6.

Hifiheadphones have the m6 in stock and ship to europe. Might be worth firing them an email to clarify the situation atm though.

@Shanling After charging today, I unplugged my M6 to find that the red light above the power button was on but the M6 was unresponsive. Pushing the power button didn't turn the screen on. Holding the power button down for an extended period didn't turn the screen on. Holding power + upper left button for an extended period didn't do anything, either. Throughout all of this (and even right now) the red light has remained on even though the M6 is totally unresponsive. Looking for some help from @Shanling it others to get my M6 back up and running quickly!

Try the forced restart.

Hold down power button for 12s, it should turn it off.

Then hold it again for 12s to turn it on.

Thanks for the quick reply @Shanling. I tried that yesterday before posting, but it didn't do anything.

As a follow-up, there was no change this morning. Red light is still on. M6 is still unresponsive. Force restart still doesn't do anything. Anything else you can think of that might help? We can discuss over p.m. if you'd prefer that.
