Maybe this is kind of a funny question, for
@Shanling and anyone who might know... but is there a reason to worry about wearing out the jack on the player by plugging in and unplugging headphones every day, or several times a day? I ask because I remember that my old Sansa player could be used for a few months before the jack would just stop working. And it was the same story with my ipod shuffle. (Yes these are both cheap, older players.) So with Shanling players, like the M3X, I've been leaving the primary headphones I use connected all the time so that doesnt happen, wrapping the cord around the player when not in use. But it's not great for the cord, or the IEMs for that matter, as they arent in their own case. So... nothing to worry about here, no issue? Do the headphone jacks just stop working from overuse... or does that never really happen? I'd like the jacks and players to last as long as possible, several years. (If it matters, I'm always using the balanced jack. On both the M2X and M3X).
