okay,LED is active only when charging, turning on device and when using Bluetooth.
I am having frequent WiFi disconnects even after a complete reset. This is getting very frustrating as I cannot stream any music without the music stopping due to the WiFi disconnects. I tried resetting my router and still the issue persists. I also went to multiple Internet places like coffee shop and library and I still have the WiFi disconnects. I also verified that the WiFi network the DAP is connecting to is 2.4 GHz. Looks like I have a busted WiFi component in this device ...@Osiris89 .. I just saw your post .. I just picked up this unit from one of the head-fi members .. it just got to me today and I too am having similar WiFi issues ... my Shanling M5s connects without any issues, so something seems strange that it is happening to M3x. I am on the latest 1.4 firmware. I scanned this thread and everyone confirms very strong WiFi connection. I am going to try a reset and fully charge the device. I saw some prompt on the device on Battery Optimization that can cause WiFi disconnects .. I checked and no battery optimization is enabled on the device in any of the apps.

LED light might not be completely accurate. There is no other way how to check.okay,
is it when in charged at >90% the led automatically off ? mine like this all the time.

He's getting this message Shanling. He got the unit off me and it was fine with my router. But as you can see he keeps getting disconnected

If it was working fine before but facing issues now, either something happened to it later or there is some software glitch.
You can send it back to seller for them to check on the unit, if behaves out of standard.

As from today, when I connect my M3X to the computer and open the SDcard folder, it appears as empty. There's still files there and I can play them all in the player, but can't see them on Windows...
