Shanling M3X Portable Player - Our smallest Android Player

Mine worked perfectly for 2.5 years. Still works fine if it's plugged in, so I'll keep it around as a desktop/nightstand device.
It's possible to purchase replacement battery from us, just the shipping cost is a bit high.
Or there are cheap batteries for it on Aliexpress, but that's not something we can guarantee quality of.

Any guide to how to open the device? I assume I'd need to pull off the back panel, but I can barely get a razor into the seam, and that's just going to snap.

Suction cup on the back. Get the proper one, like for phone repairs.

Be careful when lifting back, as there are cables connecting to main board.

I had a cheap suction cup that didn't do a thing. I bought a proper one and wow! The back came right off. Thanks for the waning about the cables.Pic if anyone is curious about the innards of an M3X.

Ordered a battery from aliexpress. Will take forever to get here, and unknown long term quality, but if I can get some extra life out of this, I'll be happy.

Impressed at the level of support by Shanling here. Thanks!

To follow up, $20 the replacement battery from aliexpress arrived today. Took 2 minutes to pop it in, make sure the powered up and then close it back up. I charged it to 100% and let it sit for 2 hours. Now at 99%. I don't know how this battery will hold up over time and under load, but it's a lot better than 100% to empty in 30 minutes.

In the meantime, I got my Hiby R4 yesterday. Feast or famine.
