Nope, M3s isn't certified device for iOS, so it will not work as DAC with your iPhone.
It's a pity, the second inconvenience for me after the lack of aptx in the receiving mode. And what is the maximum supported sound resolution in USB DAC mode?
Thank you, after all, the value for money for M3s is the best for me 
if anyone's after a case for their M3s, I have one for sale - it arrived just last week but my player just flat-out died at the weekend so I don't need it anymore, might as well help out someone who needs it

What happened to your M3s?
Dropped it, killed on impact. Not worth the time it'd take to get it replaced so I'm writing it off.

It was KOI despite the extra protection offered by the case, which itself was undamaged, and it even landed face up. I don't even know how the hell that happened but at least I was able to save the SD card!
Is it completely dead, like can't be turned on, doesn't show up when connected to computer, etc?
Because this impact might only disconnect cable from display or battery, which could be easily fixed just by opening device and checking.

Just got a used M3S. Initial impressions coming from Opus #1S. Sound seems to be just as good. Maybe missing a bit of depth. Looks great though, esp in blue to go with my HK6 and Triton Audio cable.
Man o man, this scroll wheel sucks, esp with the case on. This thing should have been touch screen, it's 2018 (2017 when released lol)
Why the hell is track back the top button and the down is track fforward. With the case on the track forward and back are pointed up down instead of left right, small oversight.
Overall so far I'm still pleased with the device look and sound. These are some flaws I found right away and I imagine, and would hope, have been pointed out already. Even a simple FW update to allow us the option of choosing to make the Skip Forward the top button would be great.

Chinese DAPs tend to do that for whatever reason in my experience. FiiO's and Cayin's DAPs for example.
It's annoying to me and I don't know why it's like that.

My first Chinese DAP, my Opus (Korean) and Pioneer (Japan/China) were "normal" lol. I guess it will just take some getting used to.Took the case off and that seemed to solve my scroll wheel issue and also allowed one my balanced cables to fully seat
