Yes! Just copy your images 320x480 to lockscreenimage folder in your card!@Shanling or anyone that may know, is it possible to upload custom images for the lock screen?
Hello everybody. NEWBIE question, what is the best format to give the micro SD card? I tried to format from within the player to exFAT connected to the PC via USB cable but when I copy songs on the card and disconnect the player it tries to update but does nothing. Also after restarting I can't access the folder.
I have all my mSD card set as exfat.
If it's brand new car, please test it out in some other device too.

Yes, you can click the "Custom lock screen" in lock screen setting for more info.

@Shanling Does the m2x have Custom EQ? is it a big step up in sound quality compared to the m0 or The LG G7?

@Shanling why does the Tidal app only display one page of my favourites??
Can this be fixed by you?
It only displays the latest 10 or so favourite Artist that I’ve saved.

Yes, it has custom EQ.
M0 is using great chip for audio, but it's still all-in-one solution. M2X has dedicated DAC, Amplifier stage, low pass filter.
Here is quote from M2x review at Twister6
I already hinted that the sound of the M2X is a healthy step up and while the overall character is very similar, both are neutral, punchy sound with a slightly brighter tonality, the M2X does it better in every respect. Bass extends a little deeper, is better controlled, mids are cleaner and more airy, and the treble is better extended and a bit more natural sounding. The stage is also larger and cleaner, allowing for better imaging.

I can confirm same problem on my unit, will report it to software team.

@Shanling - Can the M2X simultaneously connect wirelessly between a smartphone and IEM (with Bluetooth set)? Via all bluetooth between the DAP + smartphone + bluetooth IEM?
I mostly listen to YouTube and Audible.
I'm kind of an active guy. So keeping all wireless is very important to me.

For which exact reason? To send music from phone to M2x and from it to BT headphones? What exact role would M2X serve in such connection?

Yes. To send music from phone thru M2X to the bluetooth headphones. Or is a DAC/AMP better served for this purpose if it's possible? If so, does Shanling carry any DAC/AMP's?

Smartphone over BT to M2X and to BT headphones make no sense, since quality of connection would be limited to the BT capabilities of phone. Making no difference from connecting smartphone directly to BT headphones.
We have new small bluetooth DAC/AMP UP2 , but with that you would need to use standard headphones with cable, not Bluetooth model.

As @Shanling says, there is no reason to go phone>M2x>BT headphones, as you would just go directly from phone to headphones.
You could use the M2x in a couple of ways though.
You can go from phone via USB cable to M2x and then via BT to headphones, that way the M2x would be the BT transmitter.
You could go from phone via BT to M2x and then connect wired headphones to the M2x. This way the M2x would be the BT receiver and act as DAC/Amp.

Currently have the Fiio M7 but ongoing issues with connecting to my Windows 7 computer, not sorting tracks in order and multiple crashes when scanning new tracks. Ready to look for an alternative and having had the M0 would definitely consider another Shanling DAP. Especially since it isn't Android based or as I prefer to call it Hemorroid (pain in the ass) based. After my experiences with the M7 will avoid android based DAP's if I can going forward.
Would love to demo one if and when they are available in Canada. Anybody have any experience with the M7 or even M6 and can compare it to the M2X it would be greatly appreciated. I have read some comparisons but more input is always appreciated. When I saw some youtube videos of the MTouch 2.0 OS on the M5S I really liked some of the changes made from version 1.0 on the M0.

Slowly making my way back from my audio hiatus
It was either this or the M0, but went with the M2x instead
Can't wait to get home and play with this guy!

Thanks! I'm a noob so didn't know there are the ways you've pointed to use it. Wonder if there are any DAC/AMP that can connect to the phone without a cable and connect to BT headphones at the same time?

Final sound quality is affected by build in DAC/AMP in your Bluetooth headphones, putting any DAC/AMP between Bluetooth headphones and phone makes no sense. And it even can't be done, because BT headphones needs digital signal, not analog output from DAC.
