Just got mine today from aliexpress in 12 days. Updated to 2.0 with no problem, connected to my wh-1000xm2 via ldac and tried as dac, all works amazingly clear and good. Seller sent me titanium color instead of black, as I ordered. So with leather case he will add plastic clip case for free. Not a big deal but still nice. Seller also put a USB adapter with cd card slot for fast pc connection and micro usb to type-c adapter. He also said they are receiving clip cases tomorrow and start selling them immediately

Which seller did you use?

Been waiting on the release of the AP80 to decide between it and the M0, but with an unexpected Amazon gift card coming my way and this having prime shipping now, I couldn't resist. Can't wait til Friday to see how it fairs

Nice! Any taxes and how long did it take (note I'll probably still order from amp3), also any recommended seller?

No Taxes. Just checked and it took 16 days in total.
They actually sent two leather cases? so one freebee.
First fashion Store is who I used.
Make sure you use the token for the store and if you are a new user you could get an Aliexpress voucher.

I ordered a pair of Purple M0 DAPs, for $99 ea. from MusicTeck (on Amazon) - and they arrived quickly.
The uSD memory cards (from Amazon) are supposed to be in the mail when I get home this evening.
It will be sometime between a week and a month, before the leather cases, purchased on Amazon, arrive from ShenzhenAudio (shipping directly from China).
Still looking forward to the "Clip Case" being available to order.

Ultra compact set up. M0 with Flare Audio R2Pro. All of it fits in one of those 2" round ear bud cases. Now I can carry high resolution sound anywhere. The Flare 5.5mm micro drivers are very inefficient so the M0 is set to high gain. Great pairing.

Why would a battery percentage be "highly inaccurate"?
Does that also mean the current bar display is highly inaccurate?

When you are dealing with 5 bars/steps, accuracy is easier to deal than with 100 steps.

How big are your cards? I have a 256gb Samsung EVO with 8500 tracks in Artist/ Album structure.

I just tried an update and it then gave me only 56 tracks?

Have had to do another factory reset to re read the database.

Something odd going on with this one.

I personally use 200GB sandisk, M0 easily scans over 5000 files. We also have 400GB, working flawlessly.

got the red pleather case fro my shiny black M0 yesterday
but does anyone know when the clip cases will be available?
I thought they were going out to distributors last week

We have clip cases packed and ready to go since last week, to some distributors it shipped, to some others it will go alongside their next order of M0.

Why not just get it from Aliexpress, I bought one with a case for £85 delivered.

Some people like to have good customer support and warranty from their local dealer.

I'm curious, what is defined as efficient vs inefficient headphones? This is for the gain settings and when to Lo or Hi..if using Lo, what is tje max volume you should use beforr you should use hi instead?

As is convenient for you. If are are running on low mode and you have never problem with volume being too low on some extremely quiet albums, you pretty much have no reason to switch to high gain.
So if you are hitting 100 on low gain, you should switch to high gain. :)

Will there be any loss in quality with Hi gain? Or is it just using more battery that's all?

Those IEMs look awesome. What's their sound signature like?

One other question for @Shanling - Frankie, can you confirm if all four pipes of the ES9218p are active, regardless of the L or H gain setting? There's been some speculation on the V30 thread that 3 of the 4 pipes shutdown if the V30 detects a normal-device impedance (<50 Ohm). LG have reported that the DAC has that capability, but it seems unlikely to me that an OEM would want to cripple the device by utilizing only one of the four pipes without an explicit request from the user (e.g. manually turning low battery mode on or the HiFi DAC off), because using only one of the pipes leads to a degradation in SNR. I presume the M0 is using all four pipes the whole time?

Very natural sounding, not v shaped. Enclosures are titanium. Flare designed them to have the same pressure in front and behind the driver. Bass doesn't pound ears with pressure. They place vocalists and soundstage in front of face more than any IEMs I've heard. 5.5mm micro drivers are inefficient. Volume almost has to be turned as high as Sennheiser HD600.

Exactly, to many people discount the value of a warranty, having had to do a warranty claim for the battery on my Sony A17 cost $19.00 in shipping vs having to buy a new DAP. I ended up getting a new replacement unit from Sony because Sony does not maintain repair operations in all countries. It is often cheaper to simply give the customer a replacement unit vs repairing something small like a DAP under warranty..
