Shanling M0 - Smallest Hi-Res Portable Player - New Firmware V3.6

Hi!
... I'm sorry, I Don't have any Ldac devices to feed the M0.
I Hope that someone else in the forum can help you

I've used my M0 as a BT LDAC Receiver (transmitting from a Linux Netbook), and listened to earphones from the phone jack.
I haven't tried it, but I think Shanling has added the ability to output digital audio via the USB port, when operating as a BT Receiver.

hi,

Can you use the M0 as a bluetooth USB transport device? I'm looking for a bluetooth receiver with a digital out for my Chord Mojo.

If not, can anyone suggest a product that can serve this purpose? I want to be able to play music from my phone to the Mojo through bluetooth.

Thanks.

Surja

Yes, M0 can be used as USB transport while receiving sound over Bluetooth from your phone.

Did the lack of much bass response ever get fixed in firmware? Thanks!
Bass is great with my M0 also. Try a different digital filter. Short delay Sharp rolloff. Try them all.

Hi,

i’m wondering whether I can use the airpods pro with the shanling M0.

I recently bought a fiio M5 and the sound in Bluetooth is very quiet with the AirPods pro and the sony 1000xm3.
Confirmation by the manufacture

I sent it back to Amazon...

I saw in the thread that there was a problem with the M0 as well.

But I hope it’s now fine with the latest Firmware

The AirPods are mentionned

has anyone the M0 with the AirPods ?

When you say it power up, do you mean it shows the power up screen with Shanling logo, but then just goes black?
What happens when you connect it to computer, does it show up as DAC/memory? Screen shows anything?

Sorry for my slow reply.

When it powers up it shows only a white screen (not black as previously stated). When I connected it to the PC it shows as a mass storage device. Screen doesn't show anything, only white.

Yeah, this sounds like screen issue.

If your unit is still under warranty(In EU 2 years should be standard), please contact your seller.
Alternatively replacement screens can be purchased here: https://shenzhenaudio.com/products/...creen-battery-for-m0-hifi-portable-mp3-player

That can probably be done, but the battery life will be impacted by powering an external USB DAC.
The DAC chip in the M0 is the same ESS Saber ES9218P Quad DAC, that's used in the highly regarded LG V30 phone.
Which chip is in the external USB DAC that you're planning to connect?
