Any general timeline for when we can order the stainless steel clip for the M0? It has said coming soon for a few weeks now.

That was just first idea in march, changed to all plastic case since then. You can find explanation of such change about 150 pages ago.

Also, the official Shanling forum doesn't work at all. It returns a SQL error for the past 2+ months now.

That forum is out for long time.

Looks like the all plastic one was made to address problems with the metal / plastic hybrid ones? It at least uses a amorphous thermoplastic polyamide, looks to be Grilamid TR90? If so, it's a Nylon 12 (Polyamide) product.

The TR90 series has a higher flexural fatigue strength and UV resistance. Looks like the case uses a cycloaliphatic grade.

So it's actually fairly well made overall, similar to how the M0 is aluminum not plastic and the surface is hardened, not plastic.

But maybe go ahead and update the product page that suggests that the metal clip is coming soon when it has already been discontinued?

Does anyone know a quick workaround to the m0 defaulting to AAC over LDAC in receiver mode?
I have to manually change it from my smartphone to LDAC. Its quite the annoyance since I have to do it each time I connect.

Edit nvm, just solved it.
In case it helps anyone, I am using a galaxy s8. You just have to turn LDAC on from the "SmartThings" notification that appears when the device is connected.

You can try this too... power on the BT first on M0 and later power on the BT on phone....this will directly show LDAC

If you do other way around than it will show SBC/AAC

EDIT: just got my answer 2 pages back. What a shame it doesnt work :S Why is there no LDAC on PC when every crappy smartphone can do it...

Hey got a question regarding the Shanling M0 as a PC DAC.

Can i connect the M0 on Windows 10 as a USB DAC and use it as a bluetooth dongle streaming in LDAC to my Sony WH-1000XM3?

Since there is no LDAC (or even aptX-HD) bluetooth dongle yet this would solve all my problems!

Thanks in advance!
