Shanling M0 - Smallest Hi-Res Portable Player - New Firmware V3.6

Any eta on the hiby link implementation? That's a killer feature for me.

It could take a bit, since Shanling will be writing their own iOS & Android apps, due to the M0 & M5s using their own in-house OS/Music Playing software - which isn't associated with the HiBy apps that were on their earlier DAPs.

Whatever changes I done. Will be undone after my M0 reset.

In that case seems some problem with internal memory. So please reach out to your seller and ask for replacement unit / repair.

In works, no more information at this moment.

What about audiobook support? Everything else is amazing about this player. And a battery percentage.

@Shanling mentioned many pages ago that there will be no battery percentage due to inaccuracy of battery meters. I am getting almost 2 hours now once low battery warning comes on before the battery fully drains. So percentage would say like 2% but have more like 12% to 15% left so whats the point?

As for audiobook support add it to replaygain as desired features but no eta. Since they are splitting time between the M0 and M5S for updates not holding my breath seeing these features any time soon.

Anyone else noticed the touch issue/delay/lag when you pause/next after you wake the device from standby? Its a hit or a miss and occurs for a second or three....

After device wakes up it can take second or two to get responsive, especially if you are running BT for example.

Sorry....I see this has already been answered. Need to work on my search skills...

No, it doesn't work as computer BT dongle.

It wouldn't be working as a DAC though would it?

USB is digital.

Bluetooth is digital.

No DAC required - just a conversion of one digital signal to the other.

Of course you could convert the USB signal to analogue and then convert the analogue to Bluetooth but why would you do that when you can just output Bluetooth from the computer. It would just add extra fidelity-lowering processing in the signal path. USB Bluetooth adaptors start from about $5.

Well, i have not found any BT-Transmitters that can output LDAC yet, thats the interesting thing here i guess.

Has anyone found one?
