Having a Bluetooth issue with my m0 pro. I use ldac with flac files. I get stuttering and the codec drops to apt x and then even lower. Happens with multiple different receiving devices. No issues as all with my older m0se. I am on firmware 1.5. Any suggestions for a possible fix would be appreciated.
Upgrade to firm 1.6.

Yes, first recommendation would be to update to latest firmware.

Then for Codec "dropping" between types, that's not something the M0 would do on its own. You have the Bluetooth codec setting, which sets it to the preferred codec for connection, as long as supported by headset.

If you have issues with LDAC, please set it to the Auto/Connection priority. LDAC in HQ can be very sensitive on quality of signal, which can be affected by multiple things (Position of M0 to headset, strength of BT antenna between M0 and headset, surroundings, etc)

@Shanling

I just purchased a combo M0 Pro + Case + 4.4mm connector in AliExpress "Shanling Official Store". But when I went to look at Warranty info on the Shanling Website, it says Shanling does not have a store in AliExpress.....????? So who is wrong or right?

Our official website is right.

We do not run any store on Aliexpress, they are just Chinese dealers.

By the way, Shanling. Why doesn't the equalizer work on files higher than 44.1 x 16 bits?
It turns out that the declared equalizer function doesn't work anywhere in HiRes except for FLAC with a Bitrate of 44.1 x 16 bits

They are mixing a few things together, so once more to try to clean it up:

- Shanling is not directly selling on Aliexpress. We have in-house sales team, but they only operate our official shop at store.shanling.com and Amazon stores in certain countries. We sit next to each other in the Shanling office.

- Store on Aliexpress is one of official Chinese dealers, it's not run by anyone from Shanling.

- Our team provides customer support for the international market, this includes our official international distributors and support for the Store.shanling.com and Amazon.

- Our team does not provide support for Chinese dealers. If you buy from Chinese dealers, your warranty is only with them.

It's software limitation, it was like this from the beginning on 2018, so far there was no improvement from this by our software team.

Shanling, thanks for answer.

Could you add support for the WavPack (wv) format 32bit 192 or 32bit 384 with cue. Only this format (wv) supports 32-bit data with floating point.
Moreover, the player already supports playback of 32bit 384, but in wav, this is not a compressed format and the files take up much more space.
WavPack (wv) support is not will be software limited, this ONLY license Free container.
Please add it support to next software.

No plans for that currently.

I got my M0 Pro yesterday. Really impressive player for the size. Question for @Shanling, is there any way to show the audio file quality in the Playing screen besides the HR yellow logo? 192Khz/24bit, 96Khz/24 bit, DSD, etc. Instead of scrolling to the second screen and pressing the "i" icon.

No, there is no other direct way to showing file info.

Shanling, thanks for answer!
You add support for rare exotic audio formats Opus and TAK, but one of the most popular format Wv WavPak is missing and not in the plan?
Why is that?
We have already asked on the forum to add WavPak support few times during the last year, and also send to you example of this files.
I think the forum exists so that you can find out what your users really need.
Don't you really need to increase sales of your products among audiophiles by simply adding WavPak support? See https://www.wavpack.com/
Shanling Q1 player support WavPack https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/ShanlingQ1Port
I think that's a good idea to imrove m0pro.
