In the h7 settings, check the balance control. With H7, left side of all the headphone I own sound louder.
However, when I connect my headphones to ef400 or btr7, the balance on both sides sounds normal.
I think I'll have to call Shanling for repair tomorrow.
Are there any others who have experienced the same symptoms as me?

I did this already. And in fact I have been using the H7 so far by moving to the right by one or two to make the balance normal. In the h7 settings, check the balance control.

I would try resetting the device and flashing again. Download the firmware from the official website. Maybe it will help.I did this already. And in fact I have been using the H7 so far by moving to the right by one or two to make the balance normal.
About the H7, I was finally able to try it recently and like the overall sound a lot. I think it's definitely better than Gryphon to my ears and I even preferred it more than the Q7 & DX320 (stock Amp card) so that's great. I had one question though, when I tried using my DX170 as a source, I was not able to output any sound from the H7. Could that be an issue with incompatible cable? Pairing the H7 with my phone worked fine. I did not have access to other cables at the time so @Shanling is it possible to use a DAP as source?
Yes, our H7 should work with DAPs fine, anything that is able to output digital to USBD AC should work fine.

Thanks for @Zmey69 for some tips.
I will also ask, did you tried different headphone sockets and also different sources?

I got it to work over bluetooth with eddict player following your instruction. Great !!Make sure you are in TF card mode.
Try to delete H7 from your device's BT menu and pair directly in the Eddict Player app.
Make sure you have firmware V1.5 and newest app.
Are you running Android or iOS? And what model.
May I know how can I make the eddict player auto load the songs album art? Seem I have to play each song before the album art is loaded.
Would there be possibility eddict player is able to display the battery remaining in %?
Thank you.

It cannot auto-load all the album art ahead of time. Not sure if this will be possible, due to slow speeds of Bluetooth.
Will check with engineers if the % could be added. The battery indicator was added just in recent update.

My Arya Stealth doesn’t get enough juice from H7, forget about using ZMF.Hi,
I own a M8 and would like to go with the H7 in order to drive better my ZMF VC, but I want to obtain an analog natural sound not too punchy, a relaxed sound, will the H7 feet my requirements, as I had a "bad" surprise with the DX 240 sounding too dynamic (punchy).

Thanks for the confirmation, this was the one thing holding me back from purchasing the DAC. I'll go ahead and purchase it soon.Roon > FiiO M11 Plus > H7

Easy. It will drive 300ohm headphones. And there's still high gain available.Would this have enough power for a dan Clark aeon noire?

So just got the H7, so far fantastic sounding dac/amp paired with my Meze 109 Pro, Audeze LCD-XC & Senn HD650. With plenty of power to spare. Upgraded firmware to 1.5 and noticing a few strange iPhone issues.
1. I paired it with the Eddict player and plays fine when using SD card. Fantastic feature and sound quality. Hope Eddict player gets some upgrades for search in future and more alphabetical scrolling, plus cover albums.
2. When using my iPhone in Bluetooth to stream music it defaults to SBC instead of AAC after I paired it with Eddict player.
3. When using USB direct to iPhone I love that the Eddict Player still controls the DAC volume and unit controls. But would be awesome if you can actually use it to control the play/pause/next track thru Eddict.
4. Also when using USB direct I am unable to pause or go to next track using the control wheel. Only when in TF Card mode. Hope this feature works for USB mode in future.
Great solid unit overall with a few wish list items.
