Your file is set to private only.
what does it mean? I just took it out the box and turn it on, I haven't set anything
please let me know how to fix it?
also it seems I can't even turn the bluetooh mode off in the setting in the EH3, pretty sure the bt module is bad..., in the ET3 I can toggle bt on/off, not in this EH3..

Your Google Drive file sharing is set to private only, so we can't view it.

oh, should be fine now https://drive.google.com/file/d/1q0VHSn_pfzSZes6ORmoNN61vgeHMnF6a/view?usp=sharing
Also, I move the device and trying to toggle the bt settings... and then it went back to normal... but I wasn't sure if bt module is loose inside, might need to move the device here and there and see if that's indeed the case..
Checked with engineer and unfortunately this seems to be a hardware issue on the Bluetooth module. Please get in touch with your seller about this, they will sort it out for you.

I bought an EH3, the firmware version is 1.3. When the SRC function is turned on, playing PCM SRC to DSD, or playing DSD SRC to PCM, the left and right channels will be reversed. If SRC is not turned on, the left and right channels are correct. Is this normal?

Hi,
Even though I don't really know what you're saying, I can say for sure that what you're describing is not normal.
Regards

Can confirm the issue, it was reported to software team for a fix.

EH3 has an SRC function that can convert PCM to DSD. When this function is turned on, the left and right channels will be reversed on my EH3.
Hi,

OK. Bug is confirmed.
Shanling has reported it to it's software team.

Let's see if they manage to fix this.
And, in case they do, let's see how long it takes.

If the software team :
- 1°) exists
- 2°) is competent
- 3°) listens to customer requests/complains
- 4°) works full time,
then this should be fixed within a few weeks.

I suspect you'll have to wait longer.
But I really hope to be proven wrong...

This is not a deal breaker for me since I dont really need SRC function. But still hope they can fix this.

ET3 is getting firmware with this fix this week, EH3 will follow shortly.

Hi,

I have been trying to play with Eddict and see if I can live with it.
But I definitely CAN NOT.
Besides all of the already mentioned drawbacks, I found one that makes it litterally unusable here.

So here's the thing.
I have copied my music to a USB key.
I have plugged in the USB key into my EH-3.
I then launch Eddict on the EH-3.
I go to SyncLink and connect to the EH-3.
Then I go to "Local music" and choose my music.

I start playback... to ntice that this playback is all jerky.
Every 10 seconds or so there is a slight but audible skip in playback...
If it would happen only once in a while, I'd say,OK, let's live on with it.
But as I wrote : every 10 or 15 seconds max :frowning2:

I should stress that this does not happen when I use a third party app.
Which is quite a paradox : Shanling does not support third party apps (which I can understand) but their own in-house app seems to work less good than the unsupported third party app

I'll try to test with several files to see if I can narrow down the source of the problem... and help solve it !

Regards.
