Been super busy as of late, nice to see so much interest despite this being a mini meet!

If you had to name only one track, what would be your go-to "demo music" track, and why?

Tough question. Ideally I scroll down my playlist of songs testing a ton of my favorites, but I'd settle with Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" if I only get one song to test.

I listen to a lot of American Pop. I also have some JPop/Anime/KPop, but noone cares about that. So feel free to bring a flash drive or load up a streaming service if you want to give your own songs a whirl on my machine. I'll trust that the flash drives you guys bring are safe...haha.

Also didn't expect to see so many HD 6XX/650s. Guess I should've expected that since that's the reference headphone for all other headphones.

If you do not intend to bring anything, please indicate that in post so I can reflect that in the Attendees/Gear section as well. If it's any consolation, all of the Head-Fi members I've met are very respectful of other members gear, so I believe you needn't be concerned about damage to your gear. October is here and the count down to our meet is on with only one month to go! Are you ready? I certainly am!

In preparation for our meet, I created name cards for all confirmed members. Here's a sample...

On an administrative matter... I'm still waiting to hear back from several members who have not confirmed they will attend (I will be reaching out to you via PM). As I mentioned before, seating to this mini-meet is limited. So again, it is important that I receive your confirmation. If I have not heard from you by Friday October 12th, you will lose your reservation. Your slot will then be offered to the next member on our waiting list.

So what's your favorite demo music track? I'm still interested in getting everyone's thoughts on music that you use to demo equipment. If you haven't done so already, post your favorite track so I can give it a try. I look forward hearing from you and meeting everyone soon!

A quick update... I've reached out to everyone who initially expressed an interest in attending the meet, and I've received confirmations from all but @Howell Selburn. At this time, I'm opening the wait list, and I'll be notifying members of openings. If you are currently on the wait list, you may be receiving a PM from me in the near future. I did respond. You said I was on the wait list. I took that as my status. So I don’t know what is going on. I am semi frustrated at the moment. If I can’t go, I’ll live and perhaps go to the next big event, probably next summer.
