SF Bay Area Annual Meet 1Q 2013 Interest Check Thread

There are certainly guidelines for attending a meetup.  For instance, here's the list for last year, and I presume that it'll be the same or at least similar this year:

As expected, there are none about age.  See you there!  (Whenever it happens... is there a date and place picked yet?)
I would love a audiologist there, I'm looking to get my UE's reshelled. I'll chip in money for one.

If I can my parents to go with me, I MIGHT be able to go. Not like I have much to bring.. All I have are my Philips Citiscape Uptown and the Fiio E07k.. But it sure does sound good!

I'm interested. I live in Palo Alto, can't bring too much -- just have CLAS (v1) and ALO mk2 (looking to sell them), modded Denon D2000, Audioquest Dragonfly, JH16. Not sure how much good those items will do anyone but would be willing to chip in if there is cost.

Would love to meet people and hear Audeze LCD-2 or LCD-3, Sennheiser HD700 or 800, Fostex, and pretty much any desktop amp.

Count me in!

Provided dates don't conflict with other commitments I could bring HD800 + GS-1 and a  SR-007 mk1 + KGSSHV and my Lavry DA-11.  Depending on timing (e.g. whether I have gotten around to selling them) I might have some Thunderpants and an old Stax SR-001 that people would be welcome to give a try.

Tonyflo... Would be interested in hearing your Dragonfly.
If I don't get one before the show, that is...

Hey folks, us there a chance this will go down in the next 10 days? I ask because I'm moving to DC and leaving town ~ Jan 10. If yes, Id love to attend and would bring Shure SRH940s, a NuForce Icon HDP, and a MacBook Pro with optical out which could serve as a common source.

I don't know if or when this will take place.  There are a bunch of us interested in attending, but apparently no one (including myself) who want to take action to make this happen.  As always in the winter months, I am a phone call away from a 24/7 project or six that will completely bugger my ability to attend.  Summer is only slightly better.

Anyone out there willing to call "critical mass" and set a date and schedule a venue?  So far, it sounds smaller, with fewer attendees and 2 or 3 vendors, though I admit I've not followed too closely.

I may step up on this in Feb since I will be in the Bay Area for work. It will have to be in San Jose though. It will not be a super meet, but something smaller. Details pending...

I would like to attend.  I'll be coming all the way from DC or Cincinnati, depending where I am at the time.

I would like to hear as many tube amps with my HD800 as possible.  I'll bring my own DAC and source materials..

I hope I can get a hotel pretty close to the event as I have no idea where nothing is in what ever area you guys choose.

I will attend, and I will do what I can before or after to help. I live about 225 miles south of San Francisco, so I probably can't help in a pop-in, pop-out way over days or weeks. Let me know what the options for helping/contributing are.

Thanks,
Jeffrey
