MTTF: Yep aware the TUR-06 takes 1T4 & 1U4. I have 2x NEC 1T4SF myself. I just wasn't familiar with your Brimar...completely missed the 1T4 reference there. I know the guys overseas are trying some rather weird tubes DF96, etc.

I went to the store that your mention and got 2x International, Telefunken, and NEC 1T4. Thoes Brimar are from eBay.

I'm about to get off the Shinkansen now. The time is about 11.00 am., I believe. It just light rain here at Tokyo station. The cafe is located at the 1st floor of the Nakano sun plaza.
