Looking at those links I can tell you no. Those are not the same tips, although the large V-moda tips may be more similar. Not sure if they are exactly the same as the ones I got. The JVC tips are definitely different.

Thank you lee for clarification. That is not good :frowning2:
Anyone know a place where you can buy JVC/V-moda/Auveo tips that ships to Europe (UK)? I ordered meelec tips but would like to try more recommended ones.

Tx-500 work for me. Had to drop the bass knob back to the lowest setting and the 500s don't stick on the nozzle very well, but these know sound virtually identical to my HD25. $400 HD 25s?! Certainly more convenient to wear. I suppose they will sound even better once they're burned in.

I don't know anything about the HD25, but I prefer the IE80 over my Denon D2000 on any day just for the sound. IEM's are more comfy for me to wear also more convenient as you said. I can't imagine if I have to bring my D2000 for a trip.

They're phenomenal now. Burned them in overnight. All in all I prefer my Pro 900s, but these are fantastic IEMs.

Just got my silver cable today, this thing kicks some serious ass!  I can't believe these IE80s can sound even clearer than they did with the stock cable.

So, does anyone need an IE80 stock cable?

I don't really know, I was looking around to find a price and couldn't find one for sale.  Does $12 sound good?

How much are you selling it for? My dad broke his stock cable and I'm loaning him mine since I don't use it.

Why loan it to him? Just give it to him since you don't need the stock cable anyway.

If I ever sell (if) lol my IE80s I don't want to have to include the price of the cable or take it as a complete loss.

Addonexus that sounds like a good deal.

You can ALWAYS give your silver cable to your dad for that stock cable.

Now why would I do that :). The silver cable makes my IE80s sound noticeably better and going back would leave me disappointed. You've heard it from me and many others. Now it's up to you if you want to improve your sound or just be happy with what you got :).
