I am looking for a cable upgrade for the IE 80. I currently have the Moon Audio Black Dragon V1 which although has good sound quality, have far too many problems for my taste. I am looking for a upgrade over this cable, currently deciding on effect audio thor copper cable. Is it a good choice? Please list suggestions.

What is your recommendation for the IE 80? Also when choosing the connection type, I never knew you could change the cable for IE 800, would this be a mistake?

Wow been really putting these through its paces... they're starting to open up even more. The bass is tight and the soundstage gives you that feeling of standing between two decent speakers. Enjoying these but with heavily EQ'd on the low end of all of my music.

+1. I don't see a huge company like Amazon selling counterfeit items, but you never know! And yeah, great return policy anyway so you're not really taking any risk clicking the checkout button.
 
I bought my set off Amazon.fr and checked its authenticity on Sennheiser's website. No problem here, as expected.

the sound quality of these headphones perfect, if you buy a custom cable, they will sound even better!
