Gonna say get the Studio V  joke lol

Seriously I would like to get a portable dap if there is one that can play ape/flac with at least 160gb without pain in the ass to navigate playlists and tracks.

Fostex HP-P1, getting one myself w/Energizer XP18000 battery pack.

Thanks for the info.

Do you think there will be a huge sound improvement playing 320kbps tracks on iphone with IE80?

Clarity, separation, imaging; if that is important the CLAS or HP-P1 has no competition.  I choose the HP-P1 though because it will keep the Ipod topped off and can be used while charging with an external battery pack.

If I'm not mistake, the "Bass Contour" markers on the IE80 dial go from small to big, from left to right on both earphones?

The default dial out of the box is set at the lowest bass. If you look closely, there are dots indicated for each dial with the smallest dot for the the lowest bass.

Sorry to put a big stamp in your parade but the ibasso DX100 will crush that CLAS and is a smaller unit at that. It has 64 GB of onboard storage and micro SD slot so you can put 32 GB cards in it and 64 GB cards once the price comes down. Even the 128 GB cards when those become affordable.

Probably this will crush the iBasso into smithereens just by it's price and playable file format. (yes singular) this way boys > http://www.headfonia.com/altmann-micro-machines-tera-player-review/
