Enjoy the clarity of my 800s. With a strong violectric amp. But have always missed the lack of bass. Basically could not listen to classic rock with no bass. I added the Schit Loki and I’m at end game. It simply worked. Never thought I could get bass and clarity. I’ve tried many. Just when I thought the bass was there the clarity suffered. And visa versa.
Maybe it’s my amp. But the Loki has turned my 800s and Anandas into end game products.

In general, only minor fluctuations ,..
what is striking is 1-2 Decibels less basic tone and Oberbass at your HD 800S .
( 100 to 800 Hertz ) But I think that's in the normal area from series Variation .

I have tt and with antipodes audio server and Gsx mk2. I have been riding these for years , my hd800S is #920 as well.

Just want to say listening to 800S on pass x350.8 with he9 as pre.... this thing has ****ing CRUSHING BASS. Its smashing a hole in my brain! Higher (Fjaak remix) - amelie lens. But its still fast, controlled, detailed. 800S becomes legendary with a speaker amp, holy crap I cannot believe it.

Could always do with more...I'm gona plane the internal grill about 1mm to give the driver a little more room to move when it sees anything under 100hz... could be some potential fun
