I see you have the he-6 on your wishlist. Just for that & call it a day. Fantastic bass & treble. Don't think the hd's are going to satisfy you

Thank so much for the suggestions..
Bought the ougurami mod HE6 from takato..
Awaiting it to be send to me at malaysia..

Therefore, i may not venture to HD650 or HD800 soon..

Just 1 questions, will the HE6 beat HD800 soundstage and imaging.??

Thanks,
Jonathan

I don't think so, but I'd still prefer a properly amped HE6 then an HD800.

Hi bro..
Just wanna ask for you expert and experience opinions..
I am quite confused to either buy the HD800 or the HD650...
I love the "Planar"...
I love the audeze sound house for bass and meatier sound..
But i love how the treble extension over the ether and unique tuning treble of the T1 gen 1..

Therefore,
Should i ventre to the he650 or the HD800.?

Thanks,
Jonathan

Try out the Focal Elear first. They are the new thing now.

I haven't heard them myself so I can't comment on these headphones yet, but it can't hurt to listen to them before considering the HD 650 or the HD 800.

Mostly with people who stretch the headband. The pint chips off leaving a bit of a mess behind. My hd600 went that way so I covered it up with a Beyer strap.

Don't you have someplace else to be?

Hi Guys! Any suggestions for a Portable Amp for the HD650 that is under $100 to $125? Do you think Fiio e12 will be to bring out yhe beautiful sound this cans?
Save your money & get a proper amplifier. Your gonna buy that piece of junk a think man I don't know what all the hype is with these 650's. Or grab a more portable friendly headphone. I have no advice on that.

There's no need to be so ****ty. What have I done? Don't get it.

Rommel, do you want a portable amp for home use, or are you intending to use an hd650 outside? Not good for this at all.

I do use mine in the garden and while an E12a will drive it, it's not really that good with it. I use an Ifi Micro which is brilliant in terms of prepare and sound, but unfortunately, very expensive.

If you want to use the hd650 say, out in the garden as opposed to mobile, I'd dpsuggest waiting and get something like that.

The E12 can drive it more than fine, but I prefer the Cayin C5 with the 650. Same price range imho and a glorious combo.

However, the E12 is no slouch and you can surely enjoy the 650's with it, if your budget is fixed it's a great choice.

Cheers.

If you are willing to go just tad bigger/heavier, the FiiO E10K is no slouch in the amp department. I had a FiiO E10, the immediate predecessor to the E10K, and it was able to drive my new HD650s without an issue, and the E10K is even more "powerful" from the improvements they made
