As good as I need (if not better), therefore my endgame phones.

Edit: that's my beer budget for a whole year

P.S. I've just ordered some Chinese drivers that were used in "The Empiric" headphone, I thought I might put them in an old pair of 1970'S RADIO SHACK REALISTIC NOVA PRO HI-FI STEREO HEADPHONES  I bought for a laugh - retro chic

@FlySweep, GF just saw your post and said if I ever think about buying a box wine like that to not come home

.  I glad she does most of the wine buying for everyday drinking, I'm the one who is a little more picky so I usually go shopping for wine once a month and pickup 12 to 18 bottles of stuff that I like and I also have a friend in LA who is on quite a few mailing list from some great boutique wines and I get some of what he orders and I get it delivered by a few friends who are flight attendants that fly to Hawaii once a week.

Since this is the HD-650 thread I will say that the sound characteristics of the HD-650 is like a good Barolo or medium body cabernet where the HD-600 is light body cabernet or a good Garnacha.

Hope everyone is enjoying this fine Friday evening

  650 = Barossa Shiraz
HE560 = Cabernet/Shiraz blend
PS500 = Merlot

All great experiences.

1970'S RADIO SHACK REALISTIC NOVA PRO HI-FI STEREO HEADPHONES = Stanley Cabernet Merlot 4 litre

When that's all you've got.

Last time I posted a temperature (115° F) on Head-Fi I thoughtfully converted it to Fahrenheit for the benefit of our American friends, and some thought I was being patronising

Thanks to everyone who posted both imperial and metric temperatures. We have no idea what 100 fahrenheit means.

Here in Malaysia we're facing a heatwave, goes up to around 35°C, some places had up to 40°C. That's 104°F. There were deaths from heatstroke. :frowning2:
