That's very true. The ultimate audiophile systems in Asia have a set of those beautiful horn speakers
they build over there with SET amps. Can't hardly sell horns in the US. They about run Sam Tellig off
when he posted that super rave review of the Klipsch LaScala's back a few years ago. And he was right,
new LaScalas are world class sound.
As to Cowboy Junkies,
I have the original Trinity CD bought back in the day when it was first released. Amazing sounding recording
both in tone and imaging. I use it as a equipment reference and demo disc but that's about it for me. I have no
interest in the music, boring IMHO, so no interest in spending more $ money for the Revisited.
I bought my 650s used, only about 2 months old? Anyway the original owner changed the headband pad for the one off a HD 600, said he finds it more comfortable? Can't speak to that as I've never had the chance to compare.
