Thanks for the fast reply, I really think I'd buy it, (for now without any amp).
does the price get cheaper on Amazon? I will only be able to buy it a month from now, I have a friend which will get to the USA on April and can get it back to me :p

You never know if the price will go down further, but the $290 is the lowest I've ever seen it.  One year ago, I bought it for $440 because that was a good deal for the time.  Buy at $290 and have no regrets.

Just ordered a pair. Great price.

Placed the order at Amazon on Monday. Received it on Wednedsay. Suprised to see the outer box is black in color. My first HD650 which I bought many years back has an outer silver box. The clamp force is not as tight I remember on my first pair but still tight though. Probably Sennheiser fixed this. As usual, I clamped the HD650 on a box to loosen the clamp force while break it in. Why buy a second pair of HD650? I don't have the first HD650 with me right now. I left it else where thousand of miles away. Long story.

Hey guys, What do you say, the HD 650 are now on sale on Amazon, only 290$ for this beauty, i know that's a steal, but is it any cheaper somewhere else? moreover, I've got a Creative Sound Blaster ZX (600 Ohm) it should be enough to drive this pair (300Ohm) but will it (Blend?) sound good enough? I will use it mostly for FPS games, rock music, movies

Unless youre buying it used. It costs 600 here in Canada with taxes and everything. You guys in the states always have it easy

Yeah, it's really expansive here too, costs something like 620$ :frowning2: I've got a friend who might be able to get it for me, but most likely he'd feel awkward because he's staying on a friends house on Cali and he says it's not "appropriate" to send mail to a persons own home :frowning2:( -_-

You can buy them from some American sites that ship up here... I personally bought a new pair from Buysonic for $349US + $2 shipping up to Alberta last year... $395 CDN after the conversion. Not bad... liquor is another story, however. Very cheap in the states and available practically anywhere. You guys do have it easy.

My Sennheiser Journey...

2009: Bought HD650
2010: Bought HD600, Sold the HD650
2011: Sold HD600, went for Loudspeaker
2012: Bought HD600
2015: Now, I reacquire the HD650, keeping bought HD600 and HD650 at the same time

Some changes i notice of the new HD650:

1. New packaging, authentication (verifiable online)
2. Hologram sticker at one side of the headphone' driver
3. Serial number sticker at the other side of the headphone driver (can be found after removing the earpad
