T90's treble is one big peak. Picture says it all. I mean if you enjoy it that's all that matters but I was just letting  him know that it isn't abnormal to find T90 bright and fatuiging.

Oh, I've seen that FR many times.

Low treble energy at 5 kHz and somewhat raised at 8 kHz. I wouldn't say that the T90's treble is one big peak though.

It is a U-shaped FR. T1 is actually quite similar and even Beyer DT880 and DT990 are not that far. That is Beyer "house" sound. You either like it or you don't

Of course. I completely understand if you don't like the sound of T90. There are many headphones that I don't like. But we are participating in this thread because we love HD650, don't we? :)  So let's go back on track

See i'm not the only one who says to come back the HD650. Last time i did this didnt went like i thougt.

Anyway the T90 is a interesting HP, would love to listen them with electronic music if i had chance, just to know how 'tsss' notes sound on them. :)

Can't blame you. T90's treble is insane.
Yeah... Sometimes my Dt990 bass tame highs a bit, but t90 have no bass compared to Dt990. On bassy songs my Dt990 can be even dark, but i imagine T90 is bright no matter what :). Hd650 is best thing after Lcd when you have very bright cans! Thats why im goin to buy Hd650 in next month.

I've been looking for a closed-back can to complement my 650's & Beyer have just went & released the DT1770. Hmm..

Have you tried DT150? I just bought it with HD650.

I haven't heard the DT 150 but you're not the first to mention it. The main problem is I'm hoping to run it from my Sansa Clip+ and all these studio headphones are high impedance designs.

Heard it. Excellent closed can and probably a good complement to HD650.

When you say "complement" do you mean it provides something different or something much the same? I'm looking for something that sounds close to the HD 650 but doesn't invite my wife to punch me.

Something different actually. Beyer sound with deep bass and great clarity, very nice dynamics and really good speed for dynamic headphones.

Is "Beyer sound" a diplomatic way of saying ridiculously sharp treble? That's definitely not what I'm looking for.
