I'm with you Matt, Crack is an outstanding amplifier with HD650. It's seems ironic HD650 with its warm and tubey sounding pairs amazingly well with an euphonic characteristic of Crack, in a nutshell: Warmness + Euphonia = WIN, isn't it?

You have to love this thread, we can all disagree and still get along.

 
That being said, I throw a dark-horse into the competition. The Fosgate Signature is absolutely  unreal with the HD650/800. It has the most realistic soundstage I have ever heard, added bass boost (if so desired) that does not infringe on the mids and highs and has a cross-feed circuit as well. By far the best amp I have yet to hear(and I am fickle and change gear often).

Wait a minute!! Somehow you guys have completely misinterpreted my original post. No where did I say, "throw you favorite bargain amp for the 650 into the ring." Nope, didn't say that at. I really meant to give a definitive, end game, bargain 650 amp and have that be the end of the discussion.

Even though I recently swapped Vali for Asgard 2, I have to say Vali is ridiculously good amp for the price, and suberb match for HD 650's.
