Jaywillin really loves that amp. Says great things about it. I've never heard it.

It is a wonderful amp....produces great synergy with RS1i and was designed around the HD650....so yeah, great synergy there also

^^ Nice. I didn't know that it was so good with the 650. There will never be another amp for the 650 besides the Crack though.

I hear the crack is very good, never heard one myself, though.

I keep reading that here, and it's on my short list of amp upgrades (list is down to Crack and the NuForce HA-200), but I am worried about how the Crack will "synergize

" with my Grado RS2i.  Any thoughts there?

Thanks, in advance.

Sorry I'm not a grado guy. The crack works well with most any dynamic driver 300-600 ohm. Usually it's the hd6x00, but also the hd800 and some of the Beyers like the T1 ect.

As my musical preferences have shifted over the years (and my hearing aged too) and after more than decade of enjoying my HD 600, I have decided to switch to a darker/fatter/mellower headphones - HD 650. Will see how it pairs with my Schiit stack - I think it should be just perfect! My trusty old 600s were just sold to a fellow head-fier, they will be missed for sure. New 650s are on their way here (grabbed them for 419,00 on Amazon)!
