going from the 555 to 595 isnt enuf of a quality jump to justify the additional price....but if you like the senn sound and want to dive in deeper try the 600's or 650's (they have the senn sound, are better than the 555's, but not as forward)

After about 8 months of pleasure I am upgrading my 595s to 650s.

I'm "of the club" of 595, very good headphone also if I would like to have a little more deep and incisive bass, I will try if with a amp and dac will get better...

What are the main advantages of who go for a hd650 from 595?
I have read mainly a more deep bass as I would like...

I went to showroom to compare my HD555's to HD595....

I found that the detailing is same but HD595 have a brighter sound.. the Highs sound better on HD595s.

595's are much better than 555 unamped to be honest. .thats what i feel.

I'm with you...i've had my 650's for 2 weeks now and havent listened to the 595's once outside of a-b tests which put the 595's to shame...i think i'll be putting them up for sale over the holidays with the soloz-cardas cable upgrade

haven't heard the 650s but the 600s also put the 595s to shame. It is more detailed, less raucous sounding in the mids, more bass (just enough to fill in what the 595s need), and better soundstage.

hi guys, I have these cans, love em. I've been burning them for two days I swear i do hear an improvement. I was wondering, whats a nice amp for these. I'm considering buying a Dot 3.

Just a quick question regarding the 595's earpads - if you wanted to remove them to clean, how do you go about this? Do they just pull off? I'm not sure how they're attached, and I'd hate to break them.
