I'm using something custom built. I don't think it has a name.

I'm not sure about the specs. Maybe Flysweep could chime in, since he's the kind-hearted person who gave it to me when I got my first full-sized headphone (the DT880).

LMAO.

It was a custom made amp for me by a very well respected developer.  It's very neutral/transparent.. and I remember liking it even more than the O2 & UHA I had.  Gain might've been a little high for some uber-sensitive IEMs.. but for full sized phones that like power (i.e. HD600), it kicked ass.

I only asked because of what appears to be vent slots.  Looks pretty damn beefy.

Yeah, it is. It drove the HE-500 without batting an eyelid. I had a friend measure the output, and I think he said it was 2W. Take that with a grain of salt though...he's a sophomore physics major, and I don't know what ohm he measured at.

Hey, that's the Front Panel Express amp! :D My daughter got one in a raffle in 2011 at the FPE Head-Fi meet in Seattle. It's a nice little amp - perfect for the 600's.
