Hi!
Could please anyone try swapping old (brass ring) drivers to the new metal white baffle?
Or - putting new drivers into old (black plastic) baffle...
This AFAIK, could help isolate what's cause for the change in perceived sound balance - OLD vs NEW Sennheisers 600 (and 650) threads, you know.
Is it the new damper on baffle, or the drivers?
2 things on the Sennheiser line had been changed - drivers and damper, and people are quite uniform there are audible changes.
I'd like to know, but I only have very old HD600 with black plastic screen dampers AND old brass ring drivers...
