Hey, Head-Fi
I'm currently in the market for a pair of Sennheiser HD 25-1 II's, but from all that I've read, I've heard that there are some microphonics on these things. I, being a financially restricted 14 year old, am unable to buy a copper cable because of my parents' unwillingness to let me buy anything other than headphones. So here's my question:
How bad/noticeable are the microphonics on the HD 25-1 II's? Will they be horribly distorting?
Much appreciated.

Somewhat microphonic, I don't notice at all when I am outside and walking around, it is not enough to distract.  It should be pretty quiet if you keep the cable under your shirt, sweater, or jacket.

I dont think microphonics would be a concern in the HD25, OP, you should go for it.

DT1350/T50p - worse than RE252, I think.  I no longer have T50p.

Not even my M-Stage gave the K701 the low-end grunt of the Gilmore, or the soundstage.  I can just imagine the GS-1.  =d
