Personally haven't heard the M-80s so can't compare to the Amperior, but the Amperior does sound better than the HD-25s IMHO.

Exactly how does it sound better than the HD-25s? Please elaborate. :)

Something is wrong here - the HD 25-1 and the HD 25-1 II are absolutely identical - the headphones are exactly the same.

The only difference is in the packaging and the fact that the cable was lengthened by 0.3m and the jack adaptor was a screw-on instead of a push-on.

Anyone had a chance to compare these to Audio Technica's ATH-ES10?

Never compared it head on with the ES10 but between the Amperior and the ESW9 driven by Pico Amp, I greatly prefer the ESW9. It is much nicer to listen to and much more comfortable to wear. The Amperior is just too dull for music listening.

One point to note is that I generally prefer the ESW9 to ES10 too.

For audio mixing that requires a portable headphone, I would grab the Amperior any other day.
