And when you say thin....
Could you elaborate please?![]()
Well, it loses a lot of body. Mids become significantly recessed, and bass seems lifeless at times, with very little impact. Treble to me then sounds slightly artificial.
That's at least what I heard when I first inserted the drivers all the way inside the cup. Pushing them to the edge fixed a lot of these problems.

Sounds right. Those pictured are just there for now. When the construction is finished, theyll be flush.

Realized that I hadn't posted pics of my build yet. Thought I would present them in a more pleasing setting than I usually do. Still a lot of modding to do to fine tune these. Had the chance to consult a master modder and get some great ideas. Unfortunately, it means that I'll be looking into building new cups. These are beautiful cups made by 7keys and will likely be repurposed into a closed build.

You lovely female friend... we need to use her pictures with any posting of the Senn Grado xD they match her complexion really well!

Indeed. She had a good time listening to some Marley on them. I didn't notice until after the pictures that she had the channels reversed.

haha, and yea man Reggae is a nice genre on the SennGrados I think!
OH guys I got a SennHesier HD 600 in the house! I'll be comparing it to a SE senn Grado here shortly! Just as soon as 7Keys SE grado arrives at my house

I wonder how the upper-range Senn driver would sound in these Grado-inspired cups. You guys are really talented to come up with and implement these "SennGrado". Cheers.
Almost Almost done.....
Just waiting on Joe to fit the plusSound Headband for me and they're done.
